Unlike its CD version demonstrating material in continuous play, 'Nite Versions' work better in this double LP format where each track goes separately with unique trips of electronic hedonism... As Soulwax already proved with previous cuts (and this one is a sister-release to 'Any Minute Now' that features just as equally eye-striking op-art graphics), there's little for everyone - good retro-dance beat with occasional disco-readymades: the one in mind is a cover of Daft Punk's 'Teachers' and the other is rather dispersed version of 'Funky Town' (here modified as 'NY Lipps'). Some of other highlights ('Compute' or 'Miserable Girl' for instance) prove this band offers more than just DJing stand as music is quite derranged from standard dancefloor stuff - irresistible but scarry. Beware and enjoy.
